The Armfield Club is an Independent Supporters Club located on Bloomfield Road close to the football ground which has been home to Blackpool FC since 1901.

About Us
In previous times the building has been home to the No.1 Club, the Central Bowling Club and the home of Swallow Side Cars, the company which built the first Jaguar Car and was subsequently relocated to become what is now Jaguar Land Rover. This modern reincarnation as The Armfield is the latest step in its rich history.
The idea of creating a supporters’ club is something that has always been close to Blackpool fans’ hearts, ever since the old supporters’ club in the West Stand was demolished in 2001 as part of the ground redevelopment.
The idea to move forward with the project arose from a brief conversation with Derek Spence about creating a home for the Blackpool FC Former Players Association.

This quickly expanded into conversations about creating a place where various supporters’ groups, friends and family could congregate. It was from these initial discussions in early 2020 that the Armfield Club was born.
The last 12 months have been an interesting journey. The transformation from a decaying, empty building to a modern sports bar stands as testimony to the hard work, generosity and goodwill of friends and local people who have made The Armfield Club a reality.
Football supporters are aware that Blackpool FC has emerged from a dark period but perhaps without those difficult times the resolve of our fans to create something as iconic as The Armfield Club might not have arisen.
When we set out on this journey many voices urged caution but from the outset we have been determined to deliver a supporters’ club that the fan base, the club and the local community can be proud of.
We hope you will all feel the same when we start to celebrate what we hope is a bright future for the football club and its loyal supporters. We look forward to welcoming you all to your new supporters’ club – The Armfield.
