We are pleased to announce that the results are now in from the Mural competition and the winner is the ‘With The Fans’ design.
The winning design received 207 votes and 32.81% of the votes cast.
Thanks to all those who voted and have contributed to the online discussions regarding the Jimmy Armfield Mural Project and also in particular to fellow Seasider Tony Hodgson who set up the online voting survey – cheers Tony.
Weather permitting Matt Bishop (local artist) is hoping to get underway with the mural in the next few days. We will keep you posted via our social media channels with how things are progressing once work gets underway and the imagery starts coming together.
In the meantime Matt is still open to suggestions regarding any tweaking of the design so once again please forward any suggestions to us via our social media channels or add comments to the discussion threads on the message boards.
